This past October, something historic happened to Ibagari, to Roatan, to Honduras as a whole: we were awarded a Michelin Key, becoming the first and only hotel in the country to receive this distinction. While the plaque is new, the spirit it recognizes is the same one you have known all along. It feels important to pause and share this moment with you because, in truth, this recognition belongs as much to our guests as it does to us. When the news broke, happiness washed us like a wave that could be felt inside and outside Ibagari, filling every corner of both Roatan and Honduras with overwhelming joy.
